Puppy Commitment

As you can tell i did fall in love with the puppy- and as you know SO VERY unlike me. I thought about it extensively and just have to give it a try i suppose. I tell myself everyone else has dogs and they somehow live a normal life. Heck, people have babies somehow and that is freaky enough to me.

I did commit to buy the puppy and i'm naming her Snoflake... surprise..no?..lol. Maybe it is sort of an ironic name for a black dog but she does have a little white on her chest which could be a snowflake in a broad sense..lol. I will be picking her up on friday 3/4 a day after she turns 8 weeks. This weekend I have been purchasing all I will need so I don't have to rush this next week. I mean i'm down to like 5 days! I have just about everything I could need now- just need some bones to chew and maybe some doggie shampoo. I even found the most perfect doggie bed it seriously matches my curtains and bed ensemble perfectly. Looks like i took my comforter and made a doggie bed! i wasn't going to get one yet - just was going to put a towel in her crate for her to sleep on but the pretty bed I couldn't pass up even for 20$. I found a perfect size litter box to go in her crate too and it was only 2$. Half of her crate is bed which is "den" sized and the other half is litterbox. I even went for a pretty substantial purchase of a spot carpet shampooer a "little Green". I figure if she does have an accident I am prepared immediately with the carpet shampooer not after. I knew I wanted one anyhow to keep the carpet clean by my kitchen which seems to get dirty.

I also plan to 'bedazzle' her collar and leash- hopefully they are not too thick since I think it will be much better to bedazzle rather than glue but i will have to see how it goes. I'm so happy she is a girl so I can glam her up :)
